Grand Theft Auto became a hit because it let people run around a world similar to the real world and do whatever chaotic thing they wanted, so we have games like DTA 6. This world is not like ours and probably came directly from the internet. The people are geometric ragdolls that speak in memes and you’re the only guy with full control over his limbs. How you decide to use that control is up to you, but the city is your playground and you have the means to get a weapon arsenal to play with even more explosive results.
There are so many open-world games nowadays that there’s no point in comparing them to GTA, but other titles still try to be like it. This game is trying to be GTA but not so demanding so that it can be played casually on a browser if you so choose. There’s no direction or even multiple objectives to worry about, so you’re open to exploring as much as you can and seeking out your own entertainment. The means to get cash, vehicles, and weapons are straightforward so you won’t need to work too hard to experience the game in various ways. Just make sure that you save your progress.
DTA 6 is a 3D first-person sandbox game about running around in a sparsely populated town using the mouse and keyboard.
The goal of this game is to do whatever you want for as long as you want. You start out with a little bit of money but are encouraged to go get more from other people and other places. However, if you commit crimes, you’ll gain a Wanted Level as indicated by stars. The higher it gets, the more police will pursue you but you can lower your Wanted Level by fighting them off. If you’re ever taken down, you’ll need to start over.
Your phone can be used to purchase vehicles or obtain large amounts of money in certain ways. While wandering around the town, you can take vehicles for yourself and start driving. Shops can be visited for various goods or if you need money. You’ll see people walking around, but some of them can become hostile if you get too close or bother them. When defeated, people will drop money that you can take for yourself if you so choose.
Your stats are shown in the top left and top right corners of the screen. You have the power to slow down time if things get too chaotic. You can use your phone to save the game to hold onto your progress.
The first thing you should take note of is the map in the corner as it can highlight points of interest such as weapon shops. Don’t approach people unless you’re ready for a fight since one can draw a group once they start attacking. If cops become a problem, get into vehicles for protection and a way to fight them off.
This game gives hints that it is under development as it has a character select screen with the only available character having specific stats.
Since you’re driving and firing in this game, you can find it in the Car and Gun Games categories on GamePix. There are also games like Street Race, Endless Truck, Merc Zone, and Vegas Crime City.
